Carbuncle has always been the underdog summon. Only useful in the game until the party learned reflect. I would have liked to have seen Carbuncle become an ultimate defense summon, casting all manner of defensive spells instead of just Reflect and one other. It's one of the only defense based summons in the FF world and is really only useful against nonelemental mages. Yet it's always been one of my favourite summons.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
